On 15th April 2022, the WCP-Nepal team discussed with the Executive Director of the Agriculture Enterprises Centre, the agricultural wing of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI). AEC is working to expand and strengthen market-oriented private sector-driven agro enterprises to increase the value and volume of high-value products sold domestically and internationally. AEC and KUSOM have agreed to work collaboratively for training and awareness programs for trade, sustainability, and access to finance business plan development business incubation, mentoring, project preparation, monitoring, and evaluation for the agro-business related activities. AEC has a broad base of clients with a presence across 77 districts of the country, this will allow us to reach out to local SMEs to facilitate their trading activities.
