Thi Thu Huong Trinh

Prof. Trinh Thi Thu Huong is the Vice-Dean of the School of Economics and International Business, and Director of the Logistics and Supply Chain Management Department at the Foreign Trade University in Vietnam. She holds a PhD degree from the Centre Interuniversitaire d’Etude de la Mobilité (CIEM) in Brussels, Belgium, along with two Master's degrees in Economics Analysis and Transport Management from the institution.  In addition to being Vice-Dean, she is also a visiting lecturer at the University of Free Brussels in Belgium, where she teaches a course on “Logistics and Trade Facilitation” to Master`s students. Her research interest areas include, logistics services, supply chain management, transport, and trade facilitation.
Over the last 15 years, she has consulted for ADB, Mekong Economics, the International Institute for Trade and Development (IITD), World Bank (WB), WTI, ITC/SECO, the Ministry of Industry and Trade in Vietnam (MOIT), VCCI and other research firms. She also acts as coordinator and director in the North-South-South Higher Education Institution Network Programme, a joint project financed by the Finnish government and MUTRAP 3 financed by the European Union.
She has written and co-written four books in international freight forwarding, supply chain management and transport services.  Over 40 of her articles have been published in Vietnamese and International Journals, and in WB conferences. Since 2017, she has been a   member of the Editorial Board of Vietnam Logistics Report under the MOIT.
