Dayanna is a Business Administrator with a specialization in International Business and Marketing from the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Florida International University (FIU) in the United States. She has been a faculty member at UNIBE since January 2013, teaching courses in Business Management, International Business, and Family Business Administration for the BBA program. From August 2016 to September 2024, she served as Director of the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) Program at UNIBE. She currently works as the Academic Director for International Strategies and serves as the Chair for the WTO Chair Program for the Dominican Republic.

A seasoned professional with extensive experience in the corporate sector, she has led high-impact teams in International Purchasing, Logistics, and Procurement within the retail and solid waste management industries. In the field of education, she has been a driving force behind major initiatives promoting student internationalization, including the curricular reform of the BBA program to create new opportunities for concentrations and certifications and the addition of new partnership agreements. She has also played a key role in establishing new partnerships with U.S. honor societies such as Sigma Beta Delta.
