Fatima Chaudhri

Fatima Chaudhri is an Economic Affairs Officer at the Economic Modelling and Database Integration Unit of the Economic Research and Statistics Division (ERSD) of the World Trade Organization (WTO) since 2004. She has over 13 years of experience in the management of WTO technical cooperation projects in developing countries and is the focal point of the WTO Chairs Programme at ERSD. She also actively monitors global trade flows and economic conditions to assist in the development of the annual WTO Trade Forecast Press Release. Prior to WTO, she worked as an Economic Consultant at the Economics and Trade Branch of the United Nations Environmental Programme, Geneva. She holds a BSc in Economics from the University of Nottingham and a MSc in Economics from the London School of Economics. She has published and co-authored numerous books in International Trade and the Environment.
