Different aspects of EU common policy in various economic areas are analyzed. Principal attention is paid to the implications of the global economic/financial crisis of 2008-2010 for the EU.

No dia 29 maio de 2017, o Brasil formalizou pedido de abertura de processo de acessão à Organização para a Cooperação e Desenvolvimento Econômico – OCDE (Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development - OECD). Quando o pedido de acessão for aceito pelo Conselho da OCDE, a fase seguinte será a negociação dos termos dessa acessão, processo estimado em 3 a 4 anos, até que o país deposite o seu termo de ratificação. O Brasil, portanto, tem um longo caminho a percorrer.
