Trade in Services Rules
This course primarily consists of two parts. Part One covers the foundational knowledge of trade in services, including an introduction to trade in services and its theoretical basis. It mainly introduces the concept and scope of international trade in services, theories and development of trade in services, characteristics and development trends of trade in services, and policy analysis of international trade in services, with a focus on learning about protectionist trade policies and free trade policies, as well as international comparisons of trade in services policies. Part Two focuses on studying the contemporary national landscape of international trade in services, including the current state of development and policies in international trade in services, with particular emphasis on analyzing trade in services in China, the United States, the European Union, Japan, and India.
