Trade Negotiations

This course centers on the theory and practice of international trade negotiations. The theoretical component comprises two main parts: the first covers the fundamental concepts of international trade negotiations, while the second explores basic theories of international trade negotiations from different perspectives, including economics, law, psychology, and culture. In the practical component, simulated scenarios are provided to conduct classroom simulation exercises focusing on the written drafting and oral negotiation skills required for international trade negotiations. Emphasis is placed on cultivating students' abilities in information retrieval and analysis, as well as their overall English proficiency, with a particular focus on enhancing their problem analysis and problem-solving skills. This course requires students not only to master a broad range of trade knowledge but also to understand the fundamental logic of legal aspects.
