The book was delivered in Portuguese and it doesn't have an abstract in English. We’ve translated the abstract from Portuguese into English: "The Institute for Applied Economic Research (Ipea), as part of its efforts to support Brazil’s accession process and to promote the dissemination of knowledge regarding OECD standards, has developed a comprehensive project to analyze the organization’s various indicators. Involving several experts from Ipea and other research institutions, the project aims to understand these indicators and assess their suitability to the Brazilian context, which, in many respects, differs from the OECD member average. The volume on trade and investment consists of five chapters divided into two parts. The first part, comprising four chapters, is dedicated to trade indicators. It analyzes trade facilitation indicators, the Services Trade Restrictiveness Index (STRI), and inventories on fossil fuel support and export restrictions on raw materials. The second part consists of a chapter focused on the Foreign Direct Investment Regulatory Restrictiveness Index (FDI Index).
