Coaching assistance will be offered by the WTO and the ACWL to coaches of teams from developing and least developed countries participating in the annual John H. Jackson Moot Court Competition on WTO Law. The coaching sessions will be held the first week of October and require prior registration.

The 22^nd Edition of the John H. Jackson Moot Court Competition on WTO Law will be launched on 18 September 2023. The Competition is a simulated hearing under the rules of the WTO dispute settlement system involving exchanges of     written submissions and adversarial hearings before panelists on international trade law issues. The competition is organized by the European Law Students' Association (ELSA) with the technical support of the WTO.

The WTO and the Advisory Centre on WTO Law (ACWL) will, in accordance with their mandates to provide technical assistance, hold webinars providing an overview of the competition, useful tools for research on WTO law and tips on best  practices for participating in the competition to coaches from developing and least developed countries.  The sessions will take place the first week of October.

Every year, the John H. Jackson Moot Court Competition provides hundreds of students across the globe an opportunity to address interesting and novel questions of WTO law, and to engage with WTO experts who serve as panelists and     sponsors of the competition. Over the years, the Moot Court Competition has served as a launchpad for many students into the field of international trade law.
