The WTO Chair in collaboration with the Doctoral School at UoM and the ICSTH organised a seminar on "Pitching Research", by Prof Faff, Professor and Director of Research at the UQ business School on Friday 27 July 2018.
Abstract: In short, the workshop identifies, explains and illustrates a simple structured framework/tool to successfully communicate the (early origins of) key elements of a research idea to an academic expert in the field. Accordingly, this tool provides a sound basis for planning a research publication strategy.
Target Audience: any researcher - novice or experienced, from any discipline, and any style of research - either quantitative or qualitative.
