Presentation on Gender Provisions in Trade Agreements, Law and Society Conference 2022 Portugal

In the framework of the Law and Society Conference 2022 Portugal, Dr. Amrita Bahri, Co-Chair Professor, WTO Chairs Programme (Mexico), delivered a presentation focused on how different groups of women, and women with different compounding factors such as race and colour, can be impacted through trade agreements. The audience were professors, researchers, and students from across the world. The conference was held at ISCTE University Institute of Lisbon with organizational support from DINÂMIA’CET and CIES at ISCTE. It was the 7th Global conference, which is held approximately every 5 years. The theme was race, reckoning, and remedy.
