Meeting with the International Trade Administration, Ministry of Economic Affairs

In 2024, NTU’s Chair-Holder advised the International Trade Administration Ministry of Economic Affairs on the direction for amending the Trade Law. The advice focused specifically on whether to include trade in services and technology into the Trade Law’s scope and whether and how to introduce anti-circumvention rules into the Trade Law. In accordance with the Administration’s request, NTU’s Chair-Holder further held a Roundtable that invited leading academic scholars and practicing lawyers to deliberate on these issues. The advice laid down the foundations for the Administration to plan for future amendments to Trade Law.
