We are pleased to invite you to a full day 2-lecture series, co-organised by the UoM and WCP, in collaboration with the Mauritius LSE Society Trust Fund on Tuesday 22 Sept 2015 in RBLT, New Academic Complex (NAC) University of Mauritius.
10:00-11:30: Lecture 1 ‘Myths and Realities of China’s Macro Economy’
13:30-15:00: Lecture 2 ‘Transformation of China from an Agrarian economy to a Superpower: Lessons learned for a State-Led development’
We are delighted to announce that we shall have in our midst Professor Keyu Jin from the London School of Economics. Professor Jin has received her PhD from Harvard University and has research interest in International Finance and Trade, The Chinese Economy and Macro Economics. She has recently worked for the Federal Reserve Bank of New York Research Department and for Morgan Stanley (Hong Kong). She is also a reviewer for The American Economic Review, Journal of Economic Growth, Journal of Development Economics, Journal of International Economics among others and is currently on the Board of Editors of the ‘Review of Economic Studies’
