The III CTIL - Bennett International Moot Court Competition, 2026, in collaboration with the Centre for Trade and Investment Law, Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, and India Chair- WTO Chairs Programme
The Moot Court Committee, School of Law, Bennett University, is organising The III CTIL - Bennett International Moot Court Competition, 2026, in collaboration with the Centre for Trade and Investment Law, Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, and India Chair- WTO Chairs Programme, centred on the evolving theme of International Trade Law, scheduled to be held from 6th to 8th February 2026 at Bennett University, Greater Noida, Delhi NCR, India.
The competition is designed to provide law students from across the globe with an opportunity to engage in rigorous legal discourse and develop their advocacy skills in the dynamic field of international trade law, particularly violation of labour rights obligations under a free trade agreement. It aims to foster an environment of intellectual exchange, analytical reasoning, and global collaboration among future legal professionals.
About CTIL
The Centre for Trade and Investment Law (CTIL) was established in the year 2016 by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India, at the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT).The Centre is aiming to create a dedicated pool of legal experts who could provide technical inputs for enhancing India's participation in international trade and investment negotiations and dispute settlement. CTIL also holds the India Chair for WTO Chairs Programme.

Registration is Open
We are pleased to announce that registrations for the competition are now open, with the last registration date being 15th December 2025, and the Memorial submission is 15th January 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for students to compete against and learn from peers from around the world. Only students enrolled in a regular five-year integrated undergraduate law degree or a three-year graduate law degree are eligible to register for the competition.
