CIWTO and WTO Chair in Shanghai co-organized The 23rd WTO and China Annual conference and with the theme of “The 30th Anniversary of WTO and China's Role”

On December 10, 2024, right before the 30th anniversary of the foundation of the WTO, WTO Chair at UIBE, in collaboration with the WTO Chair at Shanghai University of International Business and Economics and the China Society for World Trade Organization Studies, hosted the 23rd Annual WTO and China Academic Conference with the theme of “The 30th Anniversary of WTO and China's Role”. Covering issues such as WTO matters, multilateral economic and trade cooperation, global economic governance, globalization, and China's economic development, the conference has consistently contributed valuable insights to policy formulation and academic research. Former DDG of the WTO Mr. Yi Xiaozhun and nearly 200 scholars and government sectors actively engaged in the discussions. Chinese Ambassador to the WTO Mr. Li Chenggang made a conclusion speech online.
