With the books and electronic resources purchased, a section dedicated to the WTO related matters is being built up in the library at Istanbul Bilgi University. The books purchased bear the WCP logo and are displayed in the Library. Subscription to three WTO Law and news related databases are available to open access for Istanbul Bilgi University students and wider public who undertake trade related research in the Library.
A course on “Moot Court and Advocacy Skills” has been introduced into the Law School curriculum in September 2017. The 25 students who formed the University’s John Jackson Moot Court Competition on WTO Law Team were trained to develop their advocacy skills. Research Centre promotes and encourages John Jackson Moot Court Competition on WTO Law (former ELSA Moot Court Competition on WTO Law). They have funded a research assistant to attend regional rounds of the Moot Court for the preparation of the team that represented the University at 2018 Moot Court Competition.
The publishing of a book on "Trade Map" was supported by WCP-UJ to help students (undergraduate and graduate) in areas of trade and international economics and trade.
This event was organised by ITAM law department together with the Mexican Ministry of Economy. 10 leading negotiators from Mexico who renegotiated NAFTA with the US and Canada came to share their experiences in the renegotiation of the NAFTA / TMEC / USMCA. They spoke about the respective chapters of the agreement they negotiated and the obstacles they faced during the renegotiations with the United States and Canada. It was very well received by more than 100 audience who came from academia, legal practice, government and industries.
Additional WTO related topics have been included in the current undergraduate and postgraduate modules of the BCom and BCom Honours degrees in Economics and International trade.

The School of Trade Negotiations and Shanghai Maritime Court held the opening ceremony of "21st-Century Maritime Silk Road Research Center". After the unveiling ceremony, Shanghai Maritime Court and Shanghai University of International Business and Economics jointly held the academic conference of "Legal Guarantee of 'One Belt And One Road' Construction".
October 11, 2017, Shanghai University of International Business and Economics (SUIBE) inaugurated the School of Trade Negotiations and the WTO Chair Institute-China, while the Launch of the WTO World Trade Report 2017 was held. Following the unveiling ceremony, the Launch of the WTO World Trade Report 2017 was presided over by Prof. Zhang Lei, Dean of the School of Trade Negotiations and the WTO Chair Institute-China.

The International Economic Law course is a hybrid course of public and private elements, combining the classic tripod analysis of the regulation of the inter-state economic system - monetary, financial and commercial systems - with self-regulation and exclusive relationships between private agents (eg contracts) in transnational legal proceedings. The course structure develops from real situations-problems that analyze issues related to Brazil and involve public and private actors.
