International Trade Negotiations
This course provides a comprehensive and practice-oriented exploration of international trade negotiations, equipping students with the theoretical foundations, strategic tools, and practical skills necessary to engage effectively in multilateral, regional, and bilateral trade negotiations. Delivered through a blended format of pre-session assignments, intensive on-site sessions at the trapca/ESAMI campus in Arusha, Tanzania, and post-session assessments, the course emphasizes experiential learning through simulations, case studies, and negotiation exercises.
By the end of the course, participants will have gained a nuanced understanding of negotiation processes and enhanced their capacity to contribute to trade policy formulation and implementation at national, regional, and international levels.
