Call for Research Proposal: University of Jordan

The WTO Chair at the University of Jordan (UJ) opens a call for Research Proposal for the UJ WTO Chair Awards, 2012 Edition. Proposals for research projects are hereby solicited from Jordanian researchers on subject areas in line with the WTO mandates and objectives.
 
In particular, for the 2012 round, we welcome proposals addressing, but not limited to the following themes:
 

• Contemporary trade theory and policy  issues  
•  WTO, economic integration and regional trade agreements
•  The impact of  WTO’s Agreement on Trade-Related Aspects of Intellectual Property Rights (TRIPS) on Jordan: sectorial studies
•  Governance, trade and Economic Development and equity
•  WTO Agreements and the issues of Public Health and food securities
•  NTMs : Obstacles to Trade and Growth
•  Competition Policy and Trade Liberalization
•  The impact WTO’s  service agreement on Jordan
•  WTO Government Procurement Agreement: should Jordan join?
