The International Law on Trade in Goods course (PLU433) is a foundational subject within the Bachelor of Law program, specializing in International Trade Law at Foreign Trade University. This course explores the legal relationships between states in the context of international trade in goods, providing students with essential knowledge of the legal frameworks that govern global trade.
Students will examine the core principles and sources of international trade law, with a focus on the World Trade Organization (WTO) agreements, as well as relevant provisions from the EU, NAFTA, AFTA, and Vietnam’s bilateral and multilateral trade agreements. The course also addresses dispute resolution mechanisms in goods trade and equips students with the analytical and practical skills needed to advise businesses and government agencies on legal issues in this field. Emphasis is placed on legal research, critical thinking, and professional responsibility in the practice of international trade law.
