The objective of this lecture was to analyse digital trade in Kenya using a gender lens. The lecture attempted to answer the following research questions. Is digital trade in Kenya gendered? What is the situation of digital trade in Kenya? Is there a gender digital divide in Kenya? Are the policies to promote digital trade in Kenya gender mainstreamed? Are there women’s opportunities in digital trade? And lastly, what are the challenges that women face in digital trade?
